Being a storyteller at heart and I love telling stories through my pictures!
BOTANICAL BEAUTY
In this series I follow a minimalistic approach with natural light, a careful use of negative space and minimal editing to showcase the intricate beauty of flowers and plants in all stages of their life cycle
BELLEZZA MINUSCOLA - TINY BEAUTY
Here's one of my latest photography projects, which I hope to one day develop in one book :) I gave myself a few rules for this series: 1 - Each element in the photos is 5mm or smaller (for reference the biggest snail shell here was about 4mm); 2 - I photograph each scene without moving or changing the scene in any way (including light conditions); 3 - All of the plants, animals and elements in the scene are wild or native or in other words not planned by humans in any way (in fact all of the plants in the pics - including the flowers - were voluntary "weeds"). Somehow I hope this series will show the minuscule beauty that lies mostly unnoticed at our feet and will invite children and adults alike to explore the natural "accidental" marvels we can find in our backyards. (possibly using a magnifying lens ;)
RITRATTI - PORTRAITS
I love portrait photography because it allows me to get to know people and their passions, dreams, emotions, vocations and everything that makes them human. My portraits tell the stories my subjects want and need to tell, so that they can recognize their true selves in the photos.
