by Idilia Copertino Ladies and gentlemen… Children and puppeteers! My name is Gigi Prodigi, I am the theater engineer What you will see here today Is not magic but is certainly magical It is not true, it is not real It is not comedic nor it is tragical It is a story of sometime and someplace It is a story of harshness and grace It is a story of courage and fear It is a story of sadness and cheer. Our actors and actresses Are made of paper and glue But they feel real feelings Just like me and just like you! Our houses and buildings Are made of cardboard and tape our flowers are painted Just like every landscape. But I hope you’ll get lost In this magical space And that you’ll experience with us Some harshness and grace. And I hope you’ll enjoy this magical time Filled with music and colors And feelings and (you guessed it by now…) rhyme. So without further ado I’m proud to present to you ... GIGI PRODIGI!! AND HE HAS A SURPRISE UNDER HIS HAT! ;)
